Don't look now, but Tennessee just landed a monster recruit in 6-foot-8 forward Tobias Harris.
And Harris is in. He's signed and sealed, after picking the Vols over Syracuse, Georgia Tech, Kentucky and Louisville among others.
That's a big-time job by the Vols' coaching staff reeling in Harris, who made a last-minute unofficial visit to Tuesday's thrashing of UNC Asheville.
Bruce Pearl and his staff brought in their first McDonald's All-American in Scotty Hopson last season, and now comes Harris, who Rivals.com ranks as the No. 1 power forward prospect in the country and the No. 5 overall recruit.
Harris is a hybrid forward who projects to play a lot of minutes at the four. That's a little different than Wayne Chism, who can play the four or the five. But with Chism and Tyler Smith out of eligibility after this season, Harris a huge boost to the Vols' front court.
And Harris a workout king, too. For a look at how hard this guy goes at it, give this ESPN.com story a read.
Tennessee's fall signing class is looking really strong, too.
Guard Trae Golden, out of the Atlanta suburb of Powder Springs, Ga., signed this week, while shooting guard Jordan McRae signed last week.
McRae is a 6-6 shooting guard ranked as the No. 42 player in the country according to Rivals.com. The 6-1 Golden is no slouch either. Rivals.com rates him as the No. 55 player in the class of 2010.

Awesome catch for Pearl and program. Both men's and women's teams are off to great start. Hope they keep it up and the men steal some of the UK national thunder.
