Updating Former Vols In The CFL

Here's a look at some former Tennessee football players who are seeing action in the CFL:

• 11-year CFL veteran Jeremaine Copeland is in his second season with the Toronto Argonauts. The slotback has eight catches for 151 years early on. Copeland has posted some impressive career numbers, playing for Montreal, Calgary and now Toronto. He is closing in on 10,000 career receiving yards, standing with 9,532 on 587 catches and 75 touchdowns. Copeland would become the 14th player in CFL history to gain more than 10,000 career yards.

• Defensive back Demetrice Morley is in his first season with the Calgary Stampeders and has three tackles in three games. Running back LaMarcus Coker is on the practice squad and has not played in any games in 2011.

• With the Edmonton Eskimos, linebacker Rico McCoy is on the practice squad after being signed on July 14.

Jonathan Hefney is in his third year with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and leads the team with 19 tackles through three games and a 2-1 start.
