Vols in the Pros Update (7/29)

MLB
Luke Hochevar (Royals) - Picked up his seventh win of the season with seven strong innings against Boston at Fenway Park (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS). Hochevar allowed just two runs on six hits and a walk while tying his season high with six strikeouts. He retired 14 of the last 16 batters he faced and gave up just one extra-base hit.

J.P. Arencibia (Blue Jays) - Drove in his 44th and 45th runs of the season with a 2-for-3, two-RBI effort in Toronto's 8-5 win over the Orioles on Thursday. Both RBIs came on a double off of Brad Bergesen in the third inning (VIDEO). He later doubled off of Koji Uehara as well. Over his last five games, Arencibia is hitting .353 (6-for-17) with four home runs, two doubles and six RBIs.

Chase Headley (Padres) - Was 0-for-4 at the plate hitting cleanup for San Diego, but did steal his ninth base of the season in a 4-3 win over Arizona on Thursday.
