Vols In NFL Update (9/19)

Some former Vols had huge days in NFL action on Sunday leading off with rookie Denarius Moore, who racked up 146 receiving yards including a 50-yard TD reception in a late loss for the Raiders. Here's a round-up on the former Vols in the NFL.

- In the Raiders' 38-35 loss to the Bills, Rookie WR Denarius Moore was sensational with five catches for 146 yards and a TD (VIDEO: Moore 50-Yard TD). Also check out VIDEO: Moore 42-yard catch and VIDEO: Moore's great grab. John Henderson made two tackles on defense for Oakland.

- The Chiefs suffered a 48-3 loss to Detroit without injured Eric Berry. With Kansas City Dustin Colquitt had five punts for 38.2 yards with two inside 20. 

Pittsburgh blanked Seattle, 24-0 as Ramon Foster started at left guard for the Steelers after being inactive last week. Chris Scott also played on the line after an inactive week for Pittsburgh. 

Green Bay downed the Panthers, 30-23 as Chad Clifton and Scott Wells started on the offensive line for the Packers. 

- Luke Stocker made his first NFL reception in the Bucs' 24-20 win over Minnesota for 17 yards in the win and also had a key block on a LeGarrette Blount 27-yard TD rush for Tampa Bay. For the Vikings, Anthony Herrera recovered an Adrian Peterson fumble to keep a possession for Minnesota in the second quarter.

Titans beat the Ravens, 26-13 as Baltimore's Morgan Cox snapped on eight punts and kicks.

- Many Vols played a part in the Saints' 30-13 romp over Chicago. WR Robert Meachem had four catches for 10 yards including a 4-yard TD (VIDEO: Meachem touchdown). On defense, Jabari Greer had four tackles and two passes deflection, Turk McBride had two stops including a sack and forced fumble. Aubrayo Franklin also had two tackles.

- The Redskins edged the Cardinals, 22-21 as Donte' Stallworth had two catches for 16 yards for Washington. Dan Williams had a tackle for Arizona.

Cleveland beat Indianapolis, 27-19. Montario Hardesty had three carries for a yard for the Browns. 

- Jason Witten went over 100 yards as the Cowboys won in OT, 27-24 over San Francisco as he had seven catches for 102 yards. Check out this VIDEO: Witten 25-yard gain. Parys Haralson had three tackles for 49ers. 

- In Arian Foster's return to action, the Texans topped the Dolphins, 23-13. Foster had just 10 carries for 33 yards and two catches for seven yards. But re-injured himself and Arian Foster on hamstring: 'I pulled myself out' On the defensive front, Jason Allen had a tackle and pass defended. For Miami, Kevin Burnett had five tackles and Marvin Mitchell made a stop.

The Patriots downed the Chargers, 35-21 as three former Vols played on defense for New England. Jerod Mayo had a huge game with 11 tackles including this stop (VIDEO: Patriots stop Chargers) and a forced fumble. Shaun Ellis had a tackle Albert Haynesworth suffered a groin injury, but returned to play later in the game.

Denver beat Cincinnati, 24-22 as Denver's Robert Ayers had a tackle and pass defended VIDEO: Ayers Break-Up.  Also, Britton Colquitt punted six times for 51.0 yards for Denver. With the Bengals, Gibril Wilson had two tackles.
