Vols In The NFL Update (9/2)

Most of the final weekend of action in the NFL Preseason took place on Thursday night. Here's a look at how some former Vols in the league performed last night.

- The Redskins beat the Bucs, 29-24. Donte' Stallworth had the biggest night for a former Vol with five catches for 80 yards including a game-winning 41-yard TD reception. Watch the video. With Tampa Bay, Jonathan Crompton saw his most playing time with 12 completions on 22 attempts for 149 yards with a TD and an INT. 

- Three former Vols played for the Patriots as New England lost to the New York Giants, 18-17. Albert Haynesworth (3 tackles) and Shaun Ellis ( 1 tackle for a sack) made their Pats' debuts. Jerod Mayo also had a tackle. With the Giants, Deon Grant made three tackles. 

- The Packers beat the Chiefs, 20-19 as Eric Berry had three tackles for KC. Punter Dustin Colquitt punted four times for a 30.8 average. 

- In the Bengals' 17-13 loss to the Colts, Jonathan Wade made three tackles and Gibirl Wilson had two stops for Cincinnati. 

- The Dolphins beat the Cowboys, 17-3. With Miami, Marvin Mitchell made five tackles and  Tony McDaniel had a tackle. 

- The Arizona Cardinals stopped the Denver Broncos, 26-7. Britton Colquitt punted seven times for Denver for a 41.0 average.
