Gibson & Grieve Pan Am Softball Update 10-21

Tennessee softball's Lauren Gibson and Kelly Grieve helped Team USA rally from a 5-0 first inning deficit to register a huge comeback victory over Team Canada on Thurs., Oct. 20, and secure a perfect 6-0 record and the top seed in the Pan American Games softball playoff round.  The Americans have one final pool round match-up on Friday against Argentina at 5 p.m. ET.

Lauren Gibson started the contest at second base and was moved up to hit third in the Team USA order.  The Pasadena, Md., native was 1-for-2 with a run scored, an RBI and two walks.  Kelly Grieve saw action in the game as a pinch runner.
