Gibson & Grieve Pan Am Update 10-19

Tennessee softball's Lauren Gibson and Kelly Grieve continued action on the second day of the softball competition at the Pan Am Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, helping the U.S. Women's Senior National Team to Tuesday victories over the Dominican Republic (10-0, 4 inn.) and home-standing Mexico (7-0).

Gibson started at second base and wasn't credited with an official at-bat after getting hit by two pitches, one with the bases loaded, in recording an RBI.  Grieve was the U.S. starting center fielder and went 0-1 at the plate with two walks (one with the bases loaded), a run scored and an RBI.

vs. Mexico
In Team USA's nightcap, Gibson again started at second base, going 1-for-3 at the plate with a run scored.  Grieve started for the Americans in right field and was 0-for-3 with a run.
