Vols In The NFL Update (11/21)

A pair of former Vols scored touchdowns against each other in the Cowboys 27-24 overtime win over the Redskins, find out here in the Tennessee Update.

Dallas won again, beating Washington, 27-24 in overtime as Jason Witten had three catches for 85 yards including a 59-yard TD reception (WATCH HIGHLIGHT). Donte' Stallworth returned to action with the Redskins and had four catches for 51 yards along with a 4-yard TD (WATCH HIGHLIGHT).


 


Miami crushed Buffalo, 35-8 as two former Vols played on defense for the Dolphins. Kevin Burnett had three tackles and a TFL and Marvin Mitchell made two stops.

- In the Battle for the Bay, Green Bay beat Tampa Bay, 35-26 as Scott Wells started at center for the Packers. Luke Stocker made a catch for 1 yard for the Bucs. Albert Haynesworth had a tackle and QB hurry.

- Oakland pulled off a 27-21 win at Minnesota as Denarius Moore had a catch for 14 yards and returned two punts for 34 yards. John Henderson made four tackles for Oakland. 

Detroit won a shootout with Carolina, 49-35 as Omar Gaither made five tackles for the Panthers. 

Baltimore topped Cincinnati, 31-24 as Morgan Cox snapped 13 times on kicks and punts for the Ravens. Gibril Wilson played on defense for the Bengals, but had no tackles. 

San Francisco continued to roll with a 23-7 win over Arizona as Parys Haralson had a tackle for the 49ers.. With the Cardinals Dan Williams had a career-high six tackles. 

- In the Sunday night game, The Giants fell to the Eagles, 17-10. Deon Grant had six tackles for New York in the loss. 

- On Monday, New England hosts Kansas City as three former Vols will be in action: Shaun Ellis and Jerod Mayo with the Patriots and Dustin Colquitt with the Chiefs.

The Texans, Colts, Saints and Steelers had bye weeks.
