Renfroe -- Primetime Performer - 2/16

After posting a perfect 5-0 record with a 1.13 ERA and 48 strikeouts over 31 innings last weekend at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Ariz., Tennessee sophomore pitcher Ellen Renfroe has been chosen by as one of its "Primetime Pacesetters of the Week" for February 14.  During the weekend the Jackson, Tenn., native managed a shutout of #1 and defending national champion Arizona State on its home field, marking her fourth win over a #1 or #2-ranked team in her career.  Below is an excerpt profiling those selected from over all NCAA Division I athletics, while the link to the complete release is below.
