Boren Rises To 25th As Lady Vols Fall In ITA Rankings

After splitting its two matches in consecutive weekends, the Tennessee Lady Vol tennis team fell three spots to 11th in the latest Campbell/ITA College Tennis Rankings, released Tuesday.

Sophomore Brynn Boren achieved her highest ranking of the season at No. 25, rising 10 spots after winning six matches in her last seven.

Also ranked in singles for Tennessee are senior Natalie Pluskota (29th) and junior Kata Szekely (37th). Pluskota dropped one spot, while Szekely has been ranked 37th since Feb. 16.

In doubles, Boren and freshman Sarah Toti make up Tennessee's highest-ranked duo for the second time this season at 12th.

Pluskota is ranked with both Szekely and freshman Caitlyn Williams. The Pluskota/Williams combination fell six spots to 15th, while Pluskota and Szekely are ranked 21st.

Tennessee is one of just two schools (UCLA) to have to tandems ranked in the Top 15.
