Clinkscales & McKenzie Added To Oakland Raiders Staff

The Oakland Raiders announced a restructuring of their player personnel department Tuesday, adding a pair of former Vols to their organization. Joey Clinkscales was named Oakland's Director of Player Personnel, while Raleigh McKenzie will serve as a college scout.

Clinkscales, who spent the last 17 seasons as the New York Jets' Vice President of College Scouting, played wide receiver at Tennessee from 1984-86. A team captain and Tennessee's leading receiver in 1986, Clinkscales played in 30 games for the Big Orange, totaling 68 receptions for 1,105 yards and 10 touchdowns.

After playing in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Clinkscales focused on a career in scouting.

McKenzie, a Tennessee letterwinner from 1982-84, played 36 games on the offensive line for the Vols. He went on to play for the Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, San Diego Chargers and Green Bay Packers, and was named to the All-NFL team in 1991.

Former UT wide receiver Denarius Moore is the lone active Vol on the Oakland Raiders roster. As a rookie in 2011, Moore caught 33 passes for 618 yards and five touchdowns, while adding five rushes for 61 yards and a TD.
