Former University of Tennessee track & field standout Aries Merritt continues his quest for Olympic Gold in the 110-meter hurdles today. Merritt, who is making his first Olympic appearance, posted the event's best time of 13.07 in the qualifying round to reach the semifinals. A former NCAA Champion in the event, Merritt will run the semis at 2:15 p.m. ET today with hopes of earning a place on the podium in the finals just two hours later.
