Vols In NFL Update (8/11)

Here's a look at former Vols did in the NFL on Friday night:

- The Bucs beat the Dolphins, 20-7 in a Florida battle. Second-year TE Luke Stocker had a catch for 14 yards for Tampa Bay. With Miami, Jonathan Wade made four tackles and had a pass defended while Tony McDaniel had a stop. Kevin Burnett was sidelined late with an injury.

- Eric Berry returned to action with the Chiefs in a 27-17 win over Arizona. Berry had a tackle as he started at strong safety. Dustin Colquitt punted three times for the Chiefs for a 37.3 average with two punts inside the 20. With the Cardinals, Dan Williams had a tackle.

- The 49ers topped Minnesota, 17-6. Parys Haralson made two tackles including a half-sack. In his debut with San Francisco, Marvin Mitchell had four tackles, TFL and a forced fumble for the Vikings.

- In the Browns 19-17 win over Detroit, Montario Hardesty had four carries for 16 yards. Jarrod Shaw also saw action on the offensive line for Cleveland. With Detroit, Jacques McClendon played as a reserve offensive lineman.

- The Bengals downed the Jets, 17-6. None of UT's products played as Matt Simms did not see action as a back-up QB with New York. Jason Allen missed the game for Cincinnati with an injury.

- On Saturday, rookie Tauren Poole makes his NFL debut with the Carolina Panthers as he takes on star tailback and former Vol Arian Foster with the Houston Texans at 7 p.m. The game airs on NFL Network.
