Vols In NFL Wednesday Night Football (8/29)

A little unusual, but it's time for Wednesday Night football.

After Monday's roster cuts, just five NFL Vols will be taking part in the three games tonight.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Washington Redskins Game Center
Luke Stocker and the Bucanneers (2-1) will head north to take on the Washington Redskins (2-1) at 7 p.m. Stocker got the start the last time out against the Patriots, but did not record any catches despite playing about a quarter of the game.

New England Patriots vs. New York Giants Game Center
In a Superbowl XLVI rematch, the New England Patriots (1-2) and Jerod Mayo will head to New Jersey for a battle with the New York Giants (1-2)  at Metlife Stadium at 7 p.m. The game will be aired live on NFL Network. Mayo earned the start at linebacker last time out against the Bucs tallying five tackles while playing the majority of the game.

Miami Dolphins vs. Dallas Cowboys Game Center
Kevin Burnett, Tony McDaniel and the Dolphins are in Dallas for a meeting with Jason Witten and the Cowboys at 8:30 p.m. All three NFL Vols have been out with injuries in the preseason. Burnett and McDaniel could make an appearance tonight but Witten still likely to be out with a lacerated spleen.
