Vols In NFL Update (9/3)

With the start of the 2012 regular season upon us on Wednesday night, here is an update on the 27 NFL Vols.


Arizona Cardinals/Seattle Seahawks
Dan Williams and the Cardinals will begin their season at home against the Seattle Seahawks at 4:25 p.m. on FOX

Baltimore Ravens/Cincinnati Bengals
Morgan Cox and the Baltimore Ravens will be featured on the first Monday Nigh football of the season at 7 p.m. on NBC when they play host to Jason Allen and the Bengals.

Cleveland Browns/Philadelphia Eagles
Montario Hardesty and the Cleveland Browns will play host to the Philadelphia Eagles at 1 p.m. on Sunday on CBS. Jarrod Shaw, another former Vol affiliated with the Browns was assigned to the Browns' practice squad Friday.

SOME 'SPLEENIN' TO DO: Cowboys tight end Jason Witten (left), going against Anthony Spencer in a training camp drill, still doesn't know if he'll be cleared to play in the season-opener against the Giants on Wednesday after suffering a lacerated spleen three weeks ago.

Dallas Cowboys/New York Giants

Denver Broncos/Pittsburgh Steelers
Five NFL Vols will face off against each other in this Sunday Night Football meeting on NBC at 8:20 p.m. Robert Ayers, Britton Colquitt, Malik Jackson, Peyton Manning and the Broncos will host Ramon Foster and the Steelers in prime time.
