Foster's 168 all-purpose yards (152 rushing, 16 receiving) helped him become the third fastest player in NFL history to reach 5,000 yards from scrimmage, netting the milestone in 40 games. Only Edgerrin James (36 games) and Eric Dickerson (39 games) reached the milestone faster.
Foster hit 5,000 yards from scrimmage mark on an 8-yard rush in the fourth quarter. Foster also recorded a rushing TD in the game, and has now recorded at least one TD in each game this season. He leads the league in rushing TDs (5) and ranks second in total rushing yards (532) and yards/game (106.4) behind Jamaal Charles.
