For the ninth consecutive season, the Knoxville market raks among the Top 10 highest-rated meter markets when it comes to watching regular-season college basketball on ESPN. Knoxville is one of only five cities to rank in the top 10 for the last nine years and the ONLY one in the SEC. The other cities to rank in the top 10 for the last nine years are Louisville, Ky.; Greensboro, N.C.; Raleigh-Durham, N.C.; and Charlotte, N.C.

Three markets were in the top 10 for basketball and college football in the most recent seasons: Columbus, tied at sixth in basketball was tied for fifth in football; Knoxville, tied for 10th in basketball was third in football; and Nashville, tied for 10th in basketball was ninth in football.
Eleven markets have been in the top five at least once from 2002-03 to 2012-13: Charlotte, Cincinnati, Columbus, Greensboro, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Knoxville, Louisville, Memphis, Oklahoma City and Raleigh-Durham.
For the 2012-13 season, Knoxville is tied with Nashville for 10th among all markets -- the tops among SEC markets.
