Former University of Tennessee basketball standout Alicia Manning has become the latest in a long line of Lady Vols who have gone into the coaching ranks. Manning, who played at UT from 2008-12, has been hired as an assistant coach at John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio.
Manning, who hails from Woodstock, Ga., is believed to be the 49th player from the Lady Vol program to enter the coaching ranks following her basketball career. She is the 39th of those coaches to work in the college ranks.
