As we head into the 2013 football season, here's a look at the most followed college football head coaches. The Vols' Butch Jones is firmly entrenched as the third-most followed college football coach with 86,735 followers. He trails Les Miles of LSU (115,812) and Brian Kelly of Notre Dame (96,010). When Jones arrived as the Vols' head coach Dec. 7, he had roughly 11,000 followers, that has ballooned by nearly 700 percent since coming to Knoxville from Cincinnati.

Also of note, when UTSports.com posted a story on Dec. 12, 2012 about the most followed coaches on twitter, Jones had 46,805. Since that day his account has grown by nearly 40,000 followers for an 85 percent increase. Among the top 10 most followed coaches, the next closest increase comes from Bret Bielema's account, which has grown by 73 percent with about 30,000 additional followers since Dec. 12.
