Vols In The NFL Update (8/16)

Preseason week two is underway and with that comes an NFL Vols update!

Thursday night, six NFL Vols were in action

Cleveland 24, Detroit 6 at Cleveland - Jarrod Shaw saw action on the OL for the Browns as Hardesty sat out with a knee injury in the win
Baltimore 27, Atlanta 23 at Baltimore - Morgan Cox saw action as the longsnapper for the Ravens as they scored 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to forge a comeback win. Jacques McClendon also saw action on the OL for the Dirty Birds
Philadelphia 14, Carolina 9 at Philadelphia - Tauren Poole was the Panthers' second leading rushing with five attempts for 23 yards in the loss
Chicago 33, San Diego 28 at Chicago -  Robert Meachem saw action for the Chargers making a 40 yard catch.

Tonight there are 15 more NFL Vols taking part in preseason games:

Minnesota at Buffalo - 7 p.m. - Marvin Mitchell and Cordarrelle Patterson head out on the road to face the Bills and Da'Rick Rogers
Tampa Bay at New England - 8 p.m. on FOX - Luke Stocker and the Bucs are in Foxborough for a meeting with Ben Bartholomew, Jerod Mayo and the Pats.
Oakland at New Orleans - 8 p.m. - The NFL Vol laden Raiders featuring Kevin Burnett, Omar Gaither, Denarius Moore, and Mychal Rivera head off to New Orleans to meet up with Jabari Greer, Austin Johnson and the Saints.
San Francisco at Kansas City - 8 p.m. - Parys Haralson and the Niners are off to face Eric Berry, Tyler Bray, Dustin Colquitt and the Chiefs in KC
