Sept. 18, 2004: UT defeats #11 Florida 30-28 in Neyland Stadium. Tennessee was trailing 28-21 in the fourth quarter, when freshman Erik Ainge completed a 13-yard touchdown pass to Jayson Swain with 4:17 left. But James Wilhoit, a sophomore who had never missed a PAT in his career, was wide right on the kick. All Florida had to do was run out the clock to win, but they punted with 55 seconds left. Wilhoit got his redemption when he hit a 50-yard field goal with six seconds left to win the game. The game was played in front of a Neyland Stadium record crowd of 109,061 fans.
