Vols in the CFL Update (Week 19)

Two former Vols took the field during Week 19 of the CFL season, which was the last week of the regular season before the playoffs start on Sunday, November 10.

Of the four former Vols in the league, three of them are on teams that made the playoffs. Demonte' Bolden and Jonathan Crompton are on the Calgary Stampeders while Demetrice Morley is a member of the Toronto Argonauts. Both of those teams received first round byes and will therefore play their first post season games on November 17.

Demonte' Bolden - Defensive Lineman, Calgary Stampeders

November 1 vs. BC Lions: 1 tackle

Season: 17 G, 34 tackles, 4 sacks, 2 knockdowns, 2 fumble recovery, 10 fumble return yards

Jonathan Crompton - Quarterback, Edmonton Eskimos

November 2 vs. Saskatchewan Roughriders: 2/4, 33 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

Season: 30/58, 51.7%, 451 yards, 5 TDs, 5 INTs

Jonathan Hefney - Defensive Back, Calgary Stampeders

November 1 vs. BC Lions: Did not play

Season: 11 G, 25 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 fumble recovery, 36 fumble return yards

Demetrice Morley - Defensive Back, Toronto Argonauts

November 1 vs. Montreal Alouettes: Did not play

Season: 11 G, 35 tackles, 2 INT, 37 INT return yards

Jermaine Copeland - Receivers Coach, Hamilton Tiger-Cats

November 2 vs. Winnipeg Blue Bombers: Copeland's receiving corps combined for 19 receptions, 164 yards and two touchdowns.

Cory Stone - Defensive Line Coach, Toronto Argonauts

November 1 vs. Montreal Alouettes: Stone's linemen combined for 11 tackles.
