Big Weekend for @LadyVol_Golf

The Tennessee women's golf program had a weekend to remember.

While the rest of Knoxville was entering freezing temperatures, former Lady Volunteer standout Erica Popson was in the Bahamas competing in her very first LPGA Tour event.

The native of Davenport, Fla., made the most of her first Tour opportunity. Popson made the second round cut and finish T-44th, racking up a nice payday. Popson's final scorecard read 74-71-71-72--288 (-4).

Further south, current Lady Volunteer Lucia Polo was representing her country of Guatemala at the Central American Open. Not only did Polo's Guatemalan team emerge victorious, but Polo herself also won the individual championship! She finished the 54-hole tournament shooting 72-70-73--215.
