#NFLVols Prepared for Friday Night Preseason Action (8/22/14)

In the five games that are set for Friday night, each game will feature at least one VFL. Check out what to expect:

Jaguars vs. Lions, 7:30 p.m.
Jackonsville OL Jacques McClendon is expected to be in the starting lineup as the Jaguars travel to Detroit. During this last week in training camp, McClendon spent three days working with the first-team. Fellow VFL Alex Bullard will welcome McClendon and should play at G.

Jerod Mayo (center) has returned to practice this week, trying to pull his weight as the season approaches. Jessica Rinaldi/Globe Staff
Panthers vs. Patriots, 7:30 p.m.
Chris Scott and the Panthers will travel to Gillette Stadium to take on Jerod Mayo and the Patriots. Scott is expected to start at RG.  Mayo has not played this preseason but was back to action in practice this past week.

Giants vs. Jets, 7:30 p.m.
QB Matt Simms will welcome VFL Robert Ayers and the Giants. Both played in last week's games.

Raiders vs. Packers, 8:00 p.m. (CBS)
Four VFLs will come face-to-face when three Raiders, Denarius Moore, Mychal Rivera and Jarrod Shaw travel to the home of Rajion Neal. Neal sat out last week with an injury and is not expected to return this week.

Bears vs. Seahawks, 10:00 p.m. (NFL Network)
Tony McDaniel will be the lone VFL in the final game of the night. McDaniel has been consistent for the Seahawks adding depth to the field.
