Tennessee senior basketball forward Jeronne Maymon, wide receivers coach/recruiting coordinator Zach Azzanni, Lady Vols assistant basketball coach Dean Lockwood and SEC Softball Freshman of the Week Annie Aldrete make up the guest lineup for "Vol Calls" on the Vol Network tonight (Monday, March 31).

    Lady Vol Illustrated returns to the airwaves tonight at 7 p.m., on the Lady Vol Network. Live from Calhoun's On The River, SEC Champion head coach Holly Warlick and senior guard Meighan Simmons will be on the show. Also, Lady Vols' softball star Madison Shipman will be an in-person guest at approximately 7:30 p.m.

    On Vol Calls, men's head coach Cuonzo Martin will lead off the show to talk about the Vols' recent hot stretch. Holly Warlick will join the show to talk about the SEC Championship for the Lady Vols. At 8:30 p.m., football offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian will join the show live at Calhoun's. The show will wrap up with A.J. Simcox from the #17 baseball team.

    Tennessee women's basketball assistant coach Dean Lockwood will be a special in-person guest on Lady Vol Illustrated at 7 p.m. ET, at Calhoun's On The River. Co-head coach of the softball team Ralph Weekly will join the show from California to talk about the 13-0 start for the Lady Vols. SEC gold medalist Tori Lamp will also be an in-person guest to talk about her SEC Championship diving performance tonight.

    Tennessee softball legend Monica Abbott recently spoke at the seventh annual College Lecture Series held Friday at the Bright Football Complex in College Station, Texas.

    Happy Birthday - Feb. 18: Outerbridge, Lea, Andrews & Hannon

    On Feb. 18, we celebrate two current student-athletes birthdays, freshman outside hitter Jamie Lea and senior jumper Allison Outerbridge.


       

    We would also like to wish happy birthday to former softball standout and current team manager Ashley Andrews and former football wide receiver Chris Hannon. Hannon was the only SEC wideout to catch three touchdown passes in a game during the 2003 season. His three touchdown catches tied the Tennessee game record held by six other players. 

       

    Happy Birthday - Feb. 17: Akamine, Grotz and Morgan

    A busy day for birthdays in the Tennessee Athletics family on Feb. 17.

    Celebrating are junior catcher Hannah Akamine and junior pitcher Zac Grotz

        

    Also celebrating is legendary football player and Football Hall of Fame nominee Stanley Morgan, who played 13 years in the NFL, mostly with the New England Patriots.


    Happy Birthday - Feb. 16: Ivy Renfroe and Marie-Eve Nault

    On February 16, we send birthday wishes to two former Lady Vols, softball's Ivy Renfroe and soccer's Marie-Eve Nault.

    Ivy Renfroe made her mark in the record books while playing for the Lady Vols, she concluded her career ranked second in school history in appearances (176) and wins (97). She is also third in career innings pitched (749.2) and strikeouts (737). She finished her Tennessee career as one of the most dependable postseason pitchers, totaling 18 wins in the NCAA Tournament and helping UT to three WCWS appearances (2010, 2012, 2013)

    Marie-Eve Nault played for the Lady Vols from 2000-2003 and is currently a Canadian soccer defender who plays for KIF Örebro and the Canada women's national soccer team. She represented Canada at the 2012 Summer Olympics winning the bronze medal.
