The 24th annual Tennessee Strength & Conditioning Clinic will be held Feb. 25-26 at the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center on the University of Tennessee campus.
The two-day event is geared towards coaches, trainers, athletes, parents and those interested individuals of all sports.
Friday's symposiums include instruction on increasing bench and squat numbers, teaching the power clean, Olympic speed and a round table discussion about different techniques.
Saturday's seminars include talks about in and off-season training for football, off-season basketball training, speed, agility and quickness, and organizing a summer high school program.
This year's clinic speakers are Johnny Long (Assistant A.D. for Physical Development at the University of Tennessee), Chris Carlisle (Head Strength Coach at the University of Southern California), Lee Morrow (Head Strength Coach at East Tennessee State), Jackie Ansley (Performance Training Owner/Trainer) and Tommy McDaniel (Head Strength Coach at Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn.).
