Mike Hamilton

Mike Hamilton

Jan. 9, 2004

COMPLETE SCHEDULE

Beginning Jan. 15 in the Tri-Cities and ending Feb. 19 in Knoxville, the Athletic Department will host 13 Big Orange Fan Receptions across the state of Tennessee and in Huntsville, Ala., Atlanta and Asheville, N.C.

"In an effort to say thank you to the greatest fans in the country, we're going across the state and beyond to carry the message of Big Orange athletics," Athletics Director Mike Hamilton said.

The events will feature guest speakers such as Hamilton, VASF Fund Drive co-chair and former Vol defensive end Todd Kelly, former Vol defensive end Will Overstreet, former Vol quarterback Condredge Holloway, coordinators Randy Sanders and John Chavis and recruiting guru Bill King.

Representatives from the Athletic Department will be on hand to answer any questions about UT sports, season tickets, and the VASF. One major area of interest is the availability of season football tickets for the 2004 season.

"Our season ticket holders are the foundation of our tradition of success," Hamilton said. "We want Big Orange to know they can have the opportunity to be a special part of U.T. athletics as a season ticket holder without having to be on a waiting list."

For a minimum annual contribution of $500, Big Orange fans will have the opportunity to purchase a pair of 2004 season football tickets. Tennessee's 2004 home schedule will be one of the best in school history. With rivals Florida, Auburn, Alabama and Notre Dame visiting Neyland Stadium, now is a great time to obtain priority season tickets and other benefits through the VASF.

Receptions are open to all Tennessee fans and door prizes and complimentary appetizers and soft drinks will be served.
