April 24, 2014
On behalf of the University of Tennessee Sports Medicine Department, we look forward to having you on Friday, April 25, 2014 for our 2014 University of Tennessee Spring Sports Medicine Symposium. We've had a great response in terms of registration, and still have several spots left if you know of Athletic Trainers still interested. We will also leave several spots available for walk-ups as well. If your plans have changed and you will be unable to attend, please let me know. Below you will find several items that we wanted to pass on beforehand.
Parking / Directions
Free Parking will be available in the G10 Parking Garage, which is located off of Philip Fulmer Drive and situated between Thompson-Boling Arena and Neyland Stadium. Please print the attached parking pass and leave it clearly visible on the dashboard of your vehicle. From the G10 garage, walk along Philip Fulmer Drive (head west) and cross over Lake Loudoun Boulevard. The entry to the Anderson Training Center (1551 Lake Loudoun Boulevard) is located at the corner of Lake Loudoun Boulevard and Chamique Holdsclaw Drive.
Once you enter the Anderson Training Center, please take the elevator to Floor 1 and follow the signs to Registration. If you need assistance, please call Chad at 865-719-0472.
Attached is our Symposium Agenda for the day, please feel free to print it for your reference. We will make every effort to stay on our time schedule.
In order to keep costs low, we will not be providing printed materials. You will receive an additional email to a Drop Box link that will include course materials on Thursday. Please feel free to print the presentation packet and bring it with you, or you can choose to follow along by viewing the packet (via Drop Box app) on your smart phone or tablet. I would recommend downloading and installing Drop Box on your PC for convenience, but materials can also be accessed via web browser on Drop Box.
Wi-Fi connectivity will be available by logging onto UT-Visitor and registering (free).
Friday will be a working day in our complex, and we ask that you stay in the designated areas for our Symposium. Please allow our coaches, staff and athletes to move freely around (no picture/autograph requests please). Please keep your name tag on and visible while in the building to help our staff identify you.
We look forward to hosting you on Friday, and thank you for your attendance. Please do not hesitate to call me if you need any additional information. See you Friday!
