The University of Tennessee is one of several universities from across the state joining together to sell t-shirts in an effort to raise funds for flood victims in Nashville.
"The University of Tennessee thought this fundraising opportunity would be a great way for schools across the state to come together to help those affected by the recent flood," said Michael Keener, Director of Licensing for the University of Tennessee.
Other participating schools include UT-Martin, UT-Chattanooga, Vanderbilt, Middle Tennessee State University, Memphis, Belmont, Austin Peay, East Tennessee State University and Tennessee State University.
Shirts can be purchased for $15 at www.nashvillefloodrelieftees.com.
All proceeds from shirt sales will be donated to one of five charities participating in the flood relief effort. Consumers can choose to allocate the funds from their purchase to one of the following charities: Hands on Nashville, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Second Harvest or United Way.
