Tennessee has a lot of friends.

As of Tuesday morning, Tennessee Athletics topped 50,000 fans on Facebook, and more than 40,000 of those fans came on board since last August.

If you're not already following the Vols on Facebook, there's plenty of reasons to start.

In the last year, UT Athletics held a scavenger hunt for Chick-fil-A Bowl tickets and trivia contests for tickets to men's and women's basketball as well as football games.

There's also daily questions, polls, exclusive videos and behind-the-scenes content.

Right now, there's a `Vol Babies' photo album where parents can share images of their own future Vols fans. And look out for `Vols in the Military' and `Vol Pets' content this fall.
