The base of The Hill on the University of Tennessee campus forms the backdrop for the Vol Network's famous "Kickoff Call-In Show." Since 1987, Vol Network coverage of every home Tennessee football game has originated from this scenic spot outside Neyland Stadium. A live audience of thousands line The Hill, while hundreds of thousands listen to this pregame radio show that begins 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

The Vol Network broadcast team of Bob Kesling, Tim Priest and Jeff Francis host this one-hour fan interactive show. The show provides listeners with a complete preview of the upcoming game and features questions and comments from fans at the site and throughout the country. One of the highlights to each show comes when the Pride of the Southland Band marches through on its way to the stadium.
The show also features college football scores and updates from around the country, special features, special guests, reports and interviews. The Vol Network's Randy Smith hosts the show from Vol Network control. The show is located next to Alumni Memorial Gymnasium just outside gate 21 at the intersection of Andy Holt Avenue and Phillip Fulmer Way.
