Knoxville, Tenn. - UTSports.com will be launching an enhanced and upgraded Tennessee All-Access on Friday, September 19th.
The new Tennessee All-Access is powered by Microsoft's Silverlight technology, providing increased web browser compatibility and a redesigned user-friendly, state-of-the-art interface. Those that do not have Silverlight on their computers, which was utilized by NBC during its Olympic internet coverage in Beijing, will be required to perform a quick one-time download of Silverlight before accessing the new video player.
"We are excited to be launching a new player to help us better inform and entertain our fans," said Internet Communications Director Rick Starratt. "To be able to offer this new technology and do it free of charge to users is a win-win situation for Vol fans."
The enhanced Tennessee All-Access gives fans a high-quality streaming experience and the most online video coverage of Tennessee Athletics. The new multimedia player also offers a robust search engine, allowing users to quickly locate videos they are interested in. Fans can search by sport, type of video and date to easily navigate to the newest content.
Tennessee All-Access is a completely free online service that offers live and on-demand streaming video and audio of Tennessee Athletics and other features. Tennessee is proud to offer quality video and audio clips and live event streaming free of charge to UT fans.
Vols fans wishing to experience all the great content in Tennessee All-Access will need to register for a free account online! Users who previously signed up for UTSports.com's All-Access player will not need to register again but will need to download the Silverlight plug-in.
It's game time, get in the game!
