Why does UT only allow Dish Network to have the games on pay-per-view? I think it is unfair to those with DirecTV to not allow them to have access to the game. Is it only because a former UT graduate is an executive with Dish Network? Thanks.

Mike Hamilton: Thanks for your e-mail. The pay per view is offered to all cable systems, the Dish Network and Direct TV. Host Coolmunications handles our pay per view broadcasts. It has been offered to Direct TV and lthey elected not to pick up the broadcast. Direct TV does offer the broadcast outside the state of Tennessee on the ESPN football package. Thanks for your interest in the Volunteers and sorry that Direct TV does not offer the game.
