Todd Dooley is in his 10th year full-time and 12th overall with the University of Tennessee. After serving as a graduate assistant for two years, he was promoted to full-time status in 2000. In August of 2002, he moved up the ladder again this time to assistant athletics director for compliance and operations.
Dooley oversees the softball program, as well as financial aid, on-campus housing, the Opportunity Fund the student-athletes, a coordinator for the Renewing Academic Program and is the Compliance Representative for the SEC SAAC. He also carries out various other day-to-day compliance duties
Prior to joining the administrative ranks, Dooley served as a manager for the Lady Vol basketball team for four years and earned a degree in history from Rocky Top in 1997. After graduating, he spent a year as an assistant coach for the womens basketball team at Maryville College before returning to his alma mater and earning a masters in sport administration in 2000.
