A Celebration of

Diversity, Inclusion and the Realization of Dreams

Today, Tennessee Athletics highlighted a few individuals who represented historical firsts for the University and/or athletics department during a halftime Celebration of Diversity, Inclusion and Realization of Dreams at the women's basketball game. This video was a part of that Celebration and features students from all aspects of campus life reflecting on the impact of Dr. King's dream.

Over 500 men and women wear the Tennessee uniform in 20 different sports; more than 28,000 students are enrolled in classes on the Knoxville campus. These students represent a diverse population of race, ethnicity, religion, orientation, culture and ideology. They are our future and will be among the next group of "firsts" for Tennessee. Dr. King's dream lives on ... in Tennessee and throughout the world.
