AT TENNESSEE:

2005-06: Posted a lifetime-best time of 16:50.78 in the 1650y freestyle to take ninth place in the event at the 2006 Southeastern Conference Championships...Effort enabled Cain to bank points for Team Orange at the conference meet for the third straight year...Ranks as the 11th-fastest Lady Vol in program history in the mile...Also established a personal best 1000y free time with a split readout of 10:09.05...Turned in a season-best 5:00.07 in the 500y free at the Purdue Invite...Finished 15th in the event...Contributed points for UT during every dual meet, claiming 12 top-five finishes in 13 swims...Claimed a pair of runner-up finishes (500 and 1650y freestyles) in the Big Orange triumph against Northwestern...Secured second place in the 500y free in the season-opening win at Louisville...The following day, Cain snared two third-place showings to help the Orange and White topple Kentucky...Took second place against SEC rival South Carolina in the 500y free...Against perennial power Georgia, Cain recorded fourth and fifth-place outcomes in the 1000 and 500 free. 2004-05: Scored at the SEC Championships for the second straight campaign with a 13th-place effort in the 1650y freestyle...Time of 17:00.69 was a season best...Registered a second and third-place showing in the 500 and 1000y freestyle in the Lady Vols' win over Arkansas...Also swam well in UT's dual meet against Northwestern, notching second place in the 1650y free and third in the 500y free...Picked up a pair of runner-up showings (500 and 1000y free) against Kentucky to help Team Orange defeat the Wildcats...Claimed fifth in the 200y fly against the Wildcats as well...Assisted in the campaign-christening win over Richmond with third-place efforts in the 500 and 1000y free...Turned in outstanding performance at the highly-competitive Georgia Tech Invite by taking fifth in the 1650y free...Also posted a top-16 finish in the 500y free and the 800y free relay...Recorded a fifth-place finish in the 500y freestyle in the double dual meet against Virginia and LSU to help UT put away the Tigers.

2003-04: Won the 1000y freestyle against Kentucky in her first-ever collegiate event...Time of 10:16.91 was her season's best...Overall claimed seven event titles in her initial campaign with the Big Orange...Became the 20th fastest Lady Vol in the 500y freestyle with 4:57.21 clocking at the SEC Championships...Cain also etched her name in the record books in the 1,650y freestyle at the Championships, as the 18th-fastest swimmer in UT history with a final marker of 17:01.26...Both times were season-bests for the freshman...Earned a pair of second-place showings in victory over Arkansas...The Kennesaw, Ga., native finished in the top-five on 16 different occasions on the year for the Orange and White...Against eventual national champion Auburn, Cain took home two third-place finishes, in the 500 and 1000y freestyle...Swam the third leg of the 800y freestyle relay team that took second place at the Houston Invitational...On the year finished outside of the top five on just eight different occasions.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters at Kennesaw Mountain High School and served as team captain during her sophomore, junior and senior years...Grabbed All-America accolades her last two seasons...Was a second-team all-state selection as both a sophomore and junior and was chosen to the third-team following her senior campaign...Named first-team all-county each year she swam...Garnered the county Swimmer of the Year award her junior and senior seasons...Twice took runner-up at the state championships in the 500y freestyle...Qualified for Junior Nationals in six separate events...Was a member of the Beta Club.
