PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
Spent two seasons on the swimming roster at Pittsburgh ... Won the Ohio Division 2 State Championship in the 100 fly as a junior, setting a state and meet record...finished fifth in the 100 free at the same tournament...holds the meet record at the Central District Division 2 Championships...as a senior he finished second in the OHSAA state qualifiers in the 100 fly...won the 50 fly and 50 free at the St. Charles meet...placed ninth as a member of the 200 free relay and tenth as a member of the 200 medley relay at the same meet.
