  • Competed in all five fall collegiate meets for Tennessee. As always, participated in a variety of events, especially the 200 freestyle
  • Won the 200 freestyle all five times during the fall. In all, earned eight individual event victories during the first semester, getting two wins in the 500 freestyle and one in the 400 IM.
  • Recorded NCAA B-cut times in three events during the fall: 200 freestyle (1:44.79), 500 freestyle (4:44.18), and the 400 IM (4:17.89).
  • Competed at the AT&T Winter Nationals, where she finished fourth in the 200-yard freestyle
  • Against Missouri and Virginia Tech, she won the 200 freestyle with an NCAA B-cut time of 1:47.96 and won the 200 IM with a career best time of 2:02.96. She also finished second in the 100 butterfly with an NCAA b-cut time of 53.91.
  • Finished second in the 200 freestyle, with an NCAA B-cut time of 1:47.01, and in the 1000 freestyle against Georgia.
  • Completed a noteworthy day against Florida with NCAA B-cut times in the 200 freestyle (1:45.59), the 500 freestyle (4:44.63), and the 100 butterfly (53.60), which also serves as a career best. She won all three of the events she competed in.


  • On night one, the relay team of Gendron, Faith Johnson, Mary Griffith and Harper Bruens secured a fourth place finish in the 800 Free Relay
  • Gendron just missed the A final of the 500 free, but she managed to win the B final with a B-cut time of 4:39.04.
  • Along with Cherelle Thompson, Johnson and Bruens, Gendron earned a silver medal in the 200 Free Relay with an A-cut time of 1:28.37
  • Gendron also won silver in the 200 Free, swimming an A-cut and season-high time of 1:43.35, the lone Lady Vol medal of the night
  • A blistering 51.62 butterfly leg from Gendron in the 400 Medley Relay helped to keep UT on the podium, earning the bronze medal with 3:30.19 time
  • On the final night, Gendron wrapped up her final SEC tournament with a silver medal, winning the silver medal in the 400 Free Relay with Kate McNeilis, Johnson and Bruens in 3:12.76


  • Won a bronze individually in both the 200 freestyle and 200 butterfly.
  • Individually placed 8th in the 100 freestyle, finishing in the A finals in all three events for a second consecutive season.
  • Set school records in her three individual events: the 100 free (47.66), 200 free (1:42.55) and the 200 fly (1:53.05). She only swam the 200 fly four times competitively in her career, at the Last Chance Meet and at NCAAs
  • Helped the Lady Vols finish in 5th place in the 200 freestyle relay, 6th place in the 400 medley relay, 7th in the 400 freestyle relay and 11th place in the 800 freestyle relay.
  • Finished career with 25 All-America honors, finishing with the maximum seven All-America honors as a junior and senior

  • Earned SEC Swimmer of the Week twice during the season as she helped lead the Lady Vols to an 8-1 record in team competition
  • Opened the season against UNC Wilmington, placing 1st in 50 free (23.98)
  • Helped lead the Lady Vols to their first dual match win over Georgia since 1989. She won the 200 freestyle, the 500 freestyle and then took second in the 400 IM in 4:12.93, the second-fastest time in program history in an event she has not swam often
  • Won the 500 freestyle in five dual meets this season: Kentucky/Indiana, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Georgia and Florida
  • Finished first in the 200 freestyle six times during the whole season, including in the prelims and finals of the SEC Championships
  • Broke numerous career bests during the season: 100 free (48.15) in the SEC prelims, 200 free (1:43.22), 100 breast (1:10.49), 100 fly against Vandy (54.52) and 400 IM (4:12.93)


  • Earned her first individual gold, coming from behind to win the 200 freestyle in a career best 1:43.22
  • Swam the anchor leg in the silver winning and school-record setting 200 free relay team (1:27.13)
  • Also part of the school-record record setting 400 and 800 free relay teams, both of which came in third at the meet
  • Set a new school record in the 500 freestyle (4:36.71), beating her former time by almost two seconds
  • Earned All-SEC honors


  • One of just 14 swimmers between the men's and women's NCAAs to earn All-America honors in all seven of her events, six of them first team
  • Helped the Lady Vols to the national title in the 200 freestyle relay and 400 medley relay
  • Reached the A Final of all three of her individual events: placed eighth in 100 free final (48.56)...Placed fifth in 200 free (1:43.77)...Placed eighth in 500 free (4:41.69)
  • Also swam on the 400 freestyle relay team that finished fourth and the 800 freestyle relay team that earned honorable mention All-America honors

  • Racked up five All-America honors at the NCAA Championships, highlighted by top eight finishes in the 400y medley relay, 200y free and 400y free relay
  • The 400y MR (3:29.92) and 400y FR (3:14.51) marks are both Tennessee records, finishing third and seventh in the events, respectively
  • Placed sixth in the 200y free after a clocking of 1:43.89, while also notching 16th individually in the mile (16:14.14)
  • Was also on the 10th-place 800y free relay that touched in at 7:04.60
  • Finished third or better in six events at the SEC Championships, highlighted by swimming the anchor leg on the first place and SEC record setting 400y medley relay(3:30.36)
  • Claimed silver medals in the 200y free, 500y free and 1650y free at the meet, as her 500y free time of 4:38.74 is a Lady Vol record, along with her 1,000y split time of 9:37.36 in the mile being one too
  • The 400y and 800y free relays each notched third
  • Won 22 of the 24 dual meet events she competed in, while never finishing below second in any free event this season
  • Tabbed the SEC Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 31 after winning four events against No. 2 Florida
  • Had UT's lone first-place finish at the Tennessee Invite, taking the top spot in the 200y free
  • Holds NCAA B-cut times in three individual events and in all five relays.
