DUAL MEET RECAP - Swam his first collegiate meet at UNC Wilmington, finishing sixth in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke
- Cut nearly four seconds off his time in his second 100 breaststroke race, coming in at 1:01.99 to play seventh in a home meet against Louisville
- Swam a career best in the 200 breaststroke against Ohio State (2:20.00)
- Gained two new career bests at UT Invite, 50 free (22.99) and 100 free (52.12)
- In the spring, swam breaststroke in meets against Virginia Tech and Georgia. Vastly improved his career best the 200 breaststroke at home against Georgia, cutting nearly 10 seconds in 2:11.78

- Competed as part of the Memphis Tiger Swim Club.
