2012-13 - FRESHMAN
DUAL MEET RECAP - Serves as one of the Vols' consistent backstrokers in dual meets during the season, particularly in the 100
- In first race as a Volunteer, placed sixth in the 100 backstroke with time of 56.01 and placed seventh in 200 backstroke with time of 1:59.80 in season opener against UNC Wilmington
- Competed in the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke against Louisville
- Swam a career best against Ohio State in the 100 freestyle (49.03)
- Finished seventh or better in the 100 backstroke in seven of eight regular season meets
- Recorded two career bests at the Last chance Meet to end the year: 46.63 in the 100 freestyle and 50.50 in the 100 backstroke
SEC RECAP
- Competed in three individual races in his first conference meet
- Placed 33rd in the 200 backstroke (1:49.07 - career best), 39th in the 100 backstroke (50.83) and 49th in the 200 freestyle (1:40.43 - career best)
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
- Wylie competed for the West Austin Aquatics while also swimming for Dripping Springs High School, where he is a two-time All-American
- He was the 2010 state champion in the 100-meter backstroke
- As a junior, he placed third in both the 100 backstroke and 100 freestyle
- Scholastic All-American
