2012-13 - FRESHMAN
DUAL MEET RECAP - Swam seven different individual events in his first season with the Vols and was a member of the SEC squad
- Primarily served as a distance freestyle swimmer for the Vols, but also competed the individual medleys and butterfly
- Achieved four new career bests at the Tennessee Invite: 200 free (1:45.60), 500 free (4:41.68), 200 IM (2:00.83) and 400 IM (4:16.65)
- Collected his first individual race win on the road at Virginia Tech, winning the 500 freestyle in 4:47.29
- Placed second in the 400 IM against Georgia in the upset Senior Day win over the Bulldogs
SEC RECAP
- Cut nearly 30 seconds off his career best in the 1650 freestyle, swimming the mile in 15:45.19 for a 33rd-place finish
- Finished 48th in the 500 freestyle (4:31.51)
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
- A member of the New Jersey Wave club team while also competing for Old Tappan High School
- As a junior, he broke school records in the 200 freestyle (1:44.39) and the 500 freestyle (4:39.40)
- Competed at the US Junior Nationals every year since 2008 and was invited in spring 2011 to train at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
