DUAL MEET RECAP

• Competed almost exclusively in the short-distance freestyle for the Vols, primarily the 50 and 100 freestyles
• Placed second in 100 freestyle in season opener at UNC Wilmington with a time of 46.81, which is a career-best. Placed fifth in the 100 backstroke with time of 54.98
• Against Louisville swam a career best in the 200 freestyle (1:44.25) and a season best in the 100 freestyle (45.58)
• Swam a career best in the 50 freestyle against Ohio State (20.66) taking second in the event
• At the Tennessee Invitational, won the 50 freestyle (20.68) and was second in the 100 freestyle (45.41 - career best).
• Recorded top four finishes in the 100 freestyle in seven of eight meets during the regular season. He won the event against Kentucky/Indiana (45.68)

SEC RECAP

• Scored for the Vols in two of his three events
• Finished 14th in the 50 freestyle. He made it into the B Final by swimming a career best 20.00 in a swim-off to break a tie for 16th in the preliminaries
• Posted a career best in the prelims of the 100 freestyle (44.27) and finished 22nd in the finals
• Took 42nd in the 200 freestyle (1:40.01)

• Finished fourth in the 50 back at Cumberlands
• Placed seventh in the 50 free at Ohio State
• Won the B-final of the 50 free at the Tennessee Invitational with a career-best 20.67 mark. Finished 11th in the 100 free with a career-best 45.55.

• Holds USA Swimming Southern Zone records in the 50 and 100 freestyle
• Helped club team, Baylor Swim Club, to a third-place finish at the 2009 Junior Nationals
