THE POSTSEASON STARTS HERE
Previewing the Men's Competition
#21 Tennessee: 5-3 (3-2 SEC)

Last Year at SECs: Tennessee finished fourth in the team standings at the 2013 SEC Championships. For the men, the Vols had seven swimmers named second-team All-SEC: Samuel Rairden, Renato Prono, Oystein Hetland, Ed Walsh, Gustav Aberg Lejdstrom, Tristan Slater and Sean Lehane.

Rairden led the way for the Vols at the meet, winning silver medals in the 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly. Lehane reached the finals of both the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke, taking bronze in the 200.

In the Rankings: Five teams are in the CSCAA top 25: #1 Florida, #10 Auburn, #14 Georgia, #21 Tennessee, #25 LSU

Previewing the Women's Competition
#8 Tennessee: 8-1 (4-1 SEC)

Last Year at SECs: Tennessee finished fourth at the SEC Championships. Tori Lamp was named the SEC Women's Diver of the Year and Dave Parrington was the SEC Diving Coach of the year. Six women -- three individual champions and the members of the gold medal winning women's 200-yard medley relay team -- were All-SEC: Lauren Solernou (200 MR), Molly Hannis (200 MR), Kelsey Floyd (200 MR), Faith Johnson (50 freestyle, 200 MR), Lindsay Gendron (200 freestyle) and Tori Lamp (platform). Jodie McGroarty and Caroline Simmons were named second-team All-SEC.

The Lady Vols' 200 medley relay team broke the SEC record in 1:35.08. Hannis briefly held the SEC record and broke the UT school record in the 100 breaststroke in 58.22. Lamp broke her own SEC record in the platform from a year ago (341.90).

In the Rankings: There are seven SEC teams in the top 25: #3 Georgia, #4 Texas A&M, #8 Tennessee, #9 Florida, #18 Auburn, #24 Arkansas, #25 LSU
