AUBURN, Ala. — All six of Tennessee’s divers are bidding to qualify for nationals this week at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships.
For the men, the top four finishers on all three boards at the zone meet are automatic qualifiers for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships later this month. For the women, the top five finishers qualify. The remaining spots will be filled by at-large divers.
Stone, the NCAA 1-meter defending champion, looks to qualify for the championships for a third time in his career. Rubadue reached the NCAA field as a freshman last season, earning honorable mention All-America honors on 1-meter.
Other schools with divers competing include: Alabama, Clemson, Duke, East Carolina, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida International, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina, UNC Wilmington, NC State and South Carolina.
