Associate coach Tyler Fenwick and freshman David Heron will represent the United States later this month at the FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup event in Lac St. Jean, Canada.
The race will be held July 24 near Roberval, Canada in Quebec.
Heron has had a busy competition schedule since returning from a broken wrist injury in December. He swam at the Crippen Cup 10K in April and placed fifth in both the 5K and 10K races last month at the U.S. Open Water National Championships.
Fenwick, now in his third year on the UT staff, has been named one of four coaches to the American squad.
The Lac St. Jean race is the fourth of eight events in the FINA Marathon Swimming World Cup. Three of the events are in Canada.
