DUBAI -- Another day, another gold medal for Tennessee freshman Luke Percy on Thursday at the FINA Junior World Championships.
The Australia added his third gold medal of the meet to his collection by winning the 50-meter freestyle in 22.14 seconds.
Percy had set the meet record in the event the day before, touching the wall in 22.11.
With one individual event remaining, Percy has already amassed three gold medals and three meet records through four days at the Junior Worlds.
He and the Aussie men won gold in the 400 freestyle relay on Monday, also in meet record time. On Wednesday he was part of the winning 400 mixed medley relay squad.
Percy will begin competition in the 100 freestyle Friday.
Another freshman Vol, American David Heron, will swim the 1500 freestyle Saturday.
