Was named the 2011-12 Cross Country Lady Vol Freshman of the Year.
2012 CROSS COUNTRY
Earned a new personal best and scored for the team, finishing the 6K NCAA South Regional in 22:01.8, placing fourth on the team and 97th overall...Scored for the Lady Vols at the 6K SEC Championships, finishing fourth on the team and 80th overall in 22:24.26...Returned to the team for the 6K Brooks Paul Short Run, scoring for the team with a 174th place finish overall, earning fifth place on the team in 22:46...Finished sixth on the team and 48th overall in 18:58.69 at the 5K Crimson Classic...Named the Lady Vol Freshman of the Year.
2011 CROSS COUNTRY
Made her college debut at the Brooks Paul Short Run, logging a then-6K career-best of 22:56 as UT's third finisher and the 189th runner overall...In only her second collegiate meet, she ran fourth for UT and placed 53rd overall at the SEC Championships in a 6K PR of 22:17.45...Came to UT as a student in fall 2011 and decided to join the cross country team after she already was enrolled.
HIGH SCHOOL
Won individual TSSAA Division II state cross country titles in 2007 and 2008 and was the runner-up in 2009...Won TSSAA 3200m crowns on the oval in 2008 and 2011 and a 1600m championship in 2008...Owns a best 5K cross country time of 17:41 from the 2007 Foot Locker South Regional, where she placed 12th...Helped St. Agnes Academy win 2007 state cross country team title and was part of state champion 4x800m relay unit in 2011...Track personal bests include 11:05 for 3200m and 5:04 for 1600m...Summa Cum Laude graduate...Member of National English Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Social Science Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Key Club, Ecology Club, Pep Club and SEARCH...Active with Habitat for Humanity.
