- Placed 13th at the Texas A&M Mondo Challenge, clearing 15-5.50
- Finished ninth at the Virginia Tech Invitational with a height of 15-3.75
- Competed in his first indoor meet at the Kentucky Invitational, finishing 10th with a personal best height of 16-0.75
