- Made his league meet debut at the SEC Championships, but failed to register a height
- Finished 14th at the Samford Invitational with a final height of 15-1
- Reached a new career-best height of 16-4.75 at the Armory Invitational, finishing third in the College division
- Placed 13th at the Texas A&M Mondo Challenge, clearing 15-5.50
- Finished ninth at the Virginia Tech Invitational with a height of 15-3.75
- Competed in his first indoor meet at the Kentucky Invitational, finishing 10th with a personal best height of 16-0.75

Honors - Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll...Indoors - N/A...Outdoors - Placed sixth in the open pole vault at the Sea Ray Relays in a career-best 15-1...Made his debut in a Vol uniform at the Tennessee Challenge, finishing eighth in the pole vault at 14-11.
