2010: Honors - Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll and earned team's Most Valuable Athlete Indoor Field Award...Indoors - Carded a sixth-place finish in his first career SEC competition, clearing 16-10 3/4 at the indoor meet...Soared over a personal- and UT season-best with an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 17-1 1/2 in a sixth-place finish at the Virginia Tech Final Qualifier...That height was good for the third-best indoor mark in the conference in 2010...Also set an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 17-0 3/4 and finished second at the Rod McCravy Memorial...Navigated a height of 15-7 to finish fourth at the Kentucky Invitational...Outdoors - Snared a personal best and tied for UT's finest mark of the season at the NCAA East Regional Preliminary Round to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships...To do so, he cleared a height of 17-2 3/4 that ranked as the sixth-best individual SEC mark during the outdoor slate...Tied for 18th at NCAAs with a mark of 16-4 3/4...Registered a second-place finish at the Tennessee Invitational, sailing over the bar at 16-6 3/4.
