AUSTIN, Texas - The University of Tennessee track & field team wrapped up its second week of outdoor competition at the 86th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays and the Raleigh Relays on Saturday evening. In total, the Big Orange exits the weekend with 21 personal records and 31 top-10 finishes.

Through two weeks of the 2013 outdoor campaign, the Vols and Lady Vols have combined for 49 personal records.

Highlighting the action on Saturday were both the Vol and Lady Vol relay squads. In Raleigh, N.C., three Lady Vol relays posted top-three finishes. Led off by senior Nijgia Snapp, UT's 4x800-meter relay posted a second-place finish and broke a Raleigh Relays record in the process, crossing the line in 8 minutes, 35.06 seconds. In addition to Snapp, the quartet was comprised of freshman Alexis Panisse and juniors Kianna Ruff and Brittney Jackson.

Finishing just one spot back was another Lady Vol quartet, which clocked in at 9:07.36. That relay was made up of Kelsey Kane, Amber Zimmerman, Julia Petree and Ty-Vonna Johnson.

Kane, Panisse and Zimmerman all doubled-up to compete on the Lady Vols 4x1500m relay squad. Joining junior Amirah Johnson, who led off the race, the team finished as the runner-up in 18:23.63.

At Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, the Lady Vol 4x200m relay team of Kia Jackson, Felicia Brown, Bianca Blair and Emily Yarnell placed seventh with a readout of 1:37.13.

The Vol relay squads also put in a good days work at both meets. The featured men's race of the competition, the Clyde Littlefield 4x100m relay, was one of the highlights for the Vols. The Orange and White team comprised of Reggie Juin, Jamol James, Jarael Nelvis and Arnez Hardnick, placed fifth in the highly-competitive race. The group crossed the line in 39.75 seconds.

In Raleigh, the Vols' 4x800m relay and 4x1500m relay posted fourth and fifth place finishes, respectively. Terrance Livingston, who placed fourth in the 400m on Friday, led off the 4x800m squad, while Nick Kaiser and Antonio Carter filled the middle slots. Breon Dixon closed it out for UT in a time of 7:33.89. Daniel Tobin, Kyle Walter, Jeremy Dickie and Austin Whitelaw completed the 4x1500m relay in 16:07.28.

In the field on Saturday, Vol thrower Tavis Bailey, who won the discus title at the nearby Texas State Bobcat Invitational on Thursday, finished sixth in the event in a loaded field at the Texas Relays. With many of the nation's top competitors in the event in attendance, Bailey recorded a toss of 194-feet, 5-inches (59.25m) on his fourth throw to earn the sixth place mark.

Senior Drew Thomas recorded a mark of 186-2 (56.74m) in the men's hammer throw at NC State to earn a third-place finish, while Lady Vol Cassie Wertman finished eighth in the discus `B' section at the Texas Relays. Wertman picked up her second PR of the weekend with a mark of 152-9 (46.56m).

The Orange and White are back in action in Gainesville, Fla., for the 69th annual Pepsi Florida Relays from April 5-6 at Percy Beard Track.

Tennessee will host the 47th edition of the Sea Ray Relays from April 11-13 at Tom Black Track at LaPorte Stadium. The second annual "Sea Ray Showcase," which features the men's and women's 200m, 1500m, 800m, 400m and 100m races, as well as the distance medley and 4x100m relays, will take place from 12:30 p.m. ET to 1:45 p.m. ET on the final day of the meet.
